Betty Peterson - GARDEN CITY - Betty Peterson, 91, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center. Betty was born in Emmanuel County and moved to Savannah in the early 1950's. She was a loving mother and a devout Christian. She was a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Peterson. Survivors: daughter, Linda Peterson; son, Sandy Peterson (Kay); grandchildren, Amanda, Kimberly (Sean) and Brooke; 4 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 22, 2010 at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
