SMITH, Betty Mrs. Betty Ann Blackmon Smith passed away January 25, 2014. Mrs. Betty Smith was the only child of Mrs. Annie Lee Farmer. She was born on July 13, 1940 in College Park, Ga. Betty was known for her infectious laugh and immense love for her family.She retired from Grady Memorial Hospital in 1994 after 30 years of faithful and dedicated service. She was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Ralph Smith Sr. and one son Randy Renard Smith. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. as she joined her loved ones in the heavenly host. She leaves to cherish her memory one son Mr.& Mrs. Eddie Ralph Smith, Jr.;four grandchildren: Eddie 111, Jonathan, Tamara and Taylor and a host of family and friends. Celebration of Life for Mrs. Betty Ann Blackmon Smith will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00 am, at Meadows Mortuary Chapel, 419 Flat Shoals Ave., Atlanta, Ga. 30316. Rev. Bruce Dunlap will officiate. Interment South View Cemetery, Atlanta, Ga. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 30 from 4-8 pm.
