Betty Moore, born in 1934, daughter of Robert and Marie-Fuller, died on January 26, 2008 at 74 years old.
Elder Betty Attaway Mason Moore, age 74, of 545 Hanson Circle, died Saturday, January 26, 2008, at her home. A daughter of the late Robert Attaway and Marie Fuller Attaway. She was Associate Minister of Faith Tabernacle Church, Laurens and a retired employee of the Presbyterian Home, Clinton, South Carolina. She is survived by three sons, Thomas Mason of Anderson, South Carolina, Robert Gene Mason of Maryland, and Michael J. Mason of Washington, D.C.; three daughters, Alice Elizabeth Williams, and Cynthia Ann Wormley, both of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and Michelle Towana Holmes of Laurens, S.C.; two brothers, Bishop Robert Lee Attaway of Simpsonville, S.C. and Leroy Attaway of Syracuse, New York; five sisters, Luella Copeland of Clinton, S.C., Lillie Ruth Jones of Syracuse, N.Y., Florence Putman of Laurens, S.C., Magalean Fowler of Woodruff, S.C. and Gloria Jean Lyles of Whitmire, S.C.; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Zion Hill Holiness Church, Clinton, with Pastor Willie Coleman and Pastor Paul Jennings officiating. Burial in the Orchard Park Garden Cemetery, Clinton. The family is at the home of a sister, Mrs. Luella Copeland 600 Elm Street, Clinton.Beasley Funeral Home of Laurens.
