Obituary of Betty Mahan-Smith


MAHAN-SMITH, Betty, 87, a native of Boston, Mass. and former employee of Boston Office of the FBI, also a society editor and reporter for the Cambridge Chronicle Newspaper prior to moving to Brandon in 1978. She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church and Friendship Club of Nativity Catholic Church, she was also a member of Society of FBI Alumni. A graduate of Mt. ST. Josephs Academy in Boston with an A. A. degree. She is preceded in death by her husbands, James F. Mahan and Thomas F. Smith. Survivors include two sons, Brian Mahan and wife, Kim of Atlanta, Ga., and Michael Mahan and wife, Evelyn of Tampa, Fla.; and a daughter, Mary Ellen Mahan of Medford, Mass. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at Nativity Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Monday, March 1, 2004 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make a donation to Sisters of the Holy Cross, Brandon or Concord, N.H. STOWERS-BRANDON
