MOORE, Margaret Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Saunderson)October 12, 1939 – January 5, 2014.Retired RPN, Queensway Carleton HospitalBetty passed away peacefully in her sleep at Granite Ridge on Sunday, January 5th, 2014 after a lengthy undiagnosed illness. Loving wife for 55 years of Glendon. Cherished mother of Tom (Carrie), Bruce (Catherine), Joanie (Tim Scharf) & Brian (Suzanne). Loving grandmother of Shawn (Megan), Bridget (Anson Wright), Kathleen, Caitlin, Jessica, Sarah Scharf (Dilpreet Singh), Joshua Scharf, Brent (Erin Flemming), Candice and Great Grandmother of Emma & Eve Moore. Sister of Arthur Saunderson (Catherine Weiland). Sister-in-law of Mona and Denny Hamel. Predeceased by her parents Nan and Bill Saunderson and brother Harry. Betty will be sadly missed by friends and family. Special thanks to the staff of Specialty Care Granite Ridge. Friends may call at the Carp Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp on Thursday, January 9th, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Stittsville United Church, 6255 Fernbank Rd, Stittsville,on Friday, January 10th at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations to Stittsville United Church or Childrens Hospital of Eastern Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
