->North Stonington - Betty M. (Clark) Brown, 72, of North Stonington, beloved wife of the late Charles Brown, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010, at The Westerly Hospital.Born in Atlanta, Ga., she was the daughter of the late John and Miriam (Scarborough) Clark and lived in North Stonington for the past 11 years.Betty will be remembered for her willingness to always help others. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren whom she was affectionately known as "Grandma Georgia".She leaves her two sons, David Moon Sr. and his wife, Carol, of North Stonington and Ronald Moon and his wife, Mary-Ann, of Sharpsburg, Ga.; her siblings, Billy Brown and his wife, Gloria, Johnny Clark and his wife, Judy, Peggy Mauldin and her husband, Dan, Jane Wingate and her husband, Charles, and Brenda Ellis; three grandchildren, Melanie Moon, David Moon Jr. and Steven Moon; four great-grandchildren, Amber Royster, Kelsey Kenneth, David Moon III and Caidence Moon; and her beloved cat, Rusty.A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, at the Mystic Funeral Home, 51 Williams Ave., (Route 1) Mystic.
