Betty M. Barnes, of Greenville, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001. Born in Atlanta, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Luther James and Lottie Ann Middleton Mabry. She was previously employed by Phillips Petroleum Co. She was a member of MS Society and Trinity Lutheran Church. The son, Michael Barnes of Simpsonville; three brothers, Joe Mabry, Ricky Mabry, and Don Mabry; and one granddaughter, Taylor Nicole Barnes, survive her. A memorial service will be held today at 5 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 1, at 4 p.m. at Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive at the residence immediately following the graveside service.
