Ms. Betty Lou Walden Henderson, age 74, of Jefferson passed away on Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Jeffrey Gailey and the Rev. Shannon Wingo will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, from 1-4 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.Ms. Henderson was born Jan. 2, 1940, in Lula, Ga., to the late Grover Walden and Fannie Ward Walden. She was retired from John Crodup Law Firm as a legal secretary and was of the Pentecostal faith.
