Obituary of Betty-Lou-Merry Carter

SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz., and HOULTON - Betty Lou Merry Carter, 62, formerly of Houlton, passed away peacefully March 15, 2011, after a very courageous battle with cancer. She was born Nov. 24, 1948, in Houlton, daughter of Lawrence and Florence (Rouse) Adams. She is survived by her husband, Guy Carter; son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence and Jennifer Merry; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Todd Sullivan; stepdaughter, Denise Carter; and granddaughter, Kassandra Dumais. She was predeceased by her parents; and first husband, Edmund L. "Bucky" Merry. Services will be held 10 a.m. March 19 at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, Chandler, Ariz. Services and interment in Houlton will be announced at a later date by Dunn Funeral Home.
