Betty will always be remembered for her loving kindness and care of others, especially her lifelong friend, Ellen Duncan. She was an avid supporter of women's athletics and was a #1 fan of the Pensacola Women's Roadrunners Softball Team for many years. Betty was survived by her nieces Linda Gray Gilley of Fort Worth, TX and Patricia McElfresh of Pensacola, FL and three nephews, Gary Don Hopkins of Dallas, TX, Morton Gray of Nemo, TX and Leon Gray of Fullerton, CA.The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at Rosewood Manor Nursing Home for the excellent care and love Betty. A graveside service will be held at 1:15 pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Barrancas National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until 1:00 pm at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
