Jefferson - Betty Ann Lee, 70, died July 20, 2007.A native of Jackson County, she was a lifelong resident of this area and was a daughter of the late Luther and Minnie Bales Cox. Mrs. Lee was employed with Delmar and Goody's of Athens for many years.Funeral services will be Monday, July 23, 2007, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.Survivors include her husband, Reese Lee; four children, Michael (Melanie) Lee of Winterville, Kenneth (Kim) Lee of Danielsville, Sandra Medders of Jefferson, Andy (Julie) Lee of Jefferson; sister, Dianne Roberts of Bogart; brother, Luther Cox, Jr. of Nicholson; seven grandchildren.The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
