PETERSON, BETTY LEE, 87, of Louisville, passed away September 25, 2008 at Westminster Terrace. She was a retired key puncher for General Electric for over 26 years, a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, and Beta Sigma Phi. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Edwin W. "Pete" Peterson; her brothers, Ewing L. Gentry and Edward P. Gentry; and her sisters, Edith Gentry Tharp and Anna L. Mueller. She is survived by three nieces; Carol Ann Tincher (Harvey), Roberta G. DeVoto (John), and Nancy A. Durham (John); step-niece, Karen Johnson; and step-nephew, Joe Scott. Her service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church or Kosair Charities.
