Betty L. 'Patty' Douglas Smith, 59, of LaFollette, died Dec. 1 at her home. She was a member of Indiana Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Robert and Goldie Douglas; brothers, Leland, Allen and Larry Douglas; mother-in-law, Imogene Smith.She is survived by her husband, David 'Trigger' Smith; daughter, Kendra Weathington; son, Clint Smith; brothers, David and Robert Douglas; sister, Phyllis Letner, Doris Hemmenway and Shelia Douglas Brooks; sisters-in-law, Angie Montgomery and Missy Smith; brothers-in-law, Robert Smith and Ray Brooks; along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services were Dec. 3, with Bro. David Shepherd officiating.Interment was Dec. 4, in Powell Valley Cemetery.Cross-Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
