PHELPS - Betty Johnson, 79, died on Monday (July 12, 2010) at Newark Wayne Hospital.Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. on Friday (July 16) at Resthaven Cemetery in Phelps.It is suggested that memorial donations be made to the House of John, 14 Spring St., Clifton Springs, 14432.Betty was a member of the Phelps American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Newark American Legion. Betty enjoyed socializing and dancing with her husband, Archie.Betty is survived by her children, Robert E. (Gina) Pollot of Rochester, Nancy (William) Boser of Penn Yan, Betty Jo (John) Borne and James Natolie; grandchildren, Lea Pollot, Christina Pollot and Tiffany Rowe and Casey Borne; and nephew, Jared (Nancy) Johnson of Pennsylvania.She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie; and daughter, Margaret Rose.Funeral arrangements have been made with the Cheney Funeral Home, Phelps.
