SMITH, BETTY JO - age 56, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday September 11, 2014. Betty Jo was a dedicated employee of Open Arms Care for 20 years, and was a very passionate animal lover. She is survived by son, Billy Joe Smith (Danyel Drummond); daughter, Alice Luster (Eric Moyers); granddaughter, Ada Moyers; brother, Roy "Stormy" and wife Linda Smith, Michael Joe Smith, and Brian Smith. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 15th, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Berry Highland Memorial, 5313 Kingston Pike.
