MOUNDVILLE Betty Jo Johnson, age 79, of Moundville, died April 19, 2012, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Paul Tidwell and Mike Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her father, William V. Harless Sr.; mother, Ola Mae Harless; brother, William V. Harless Jr.; and sister, Clair Marcum.Survivors include her husband, James David Johnson Sr.; daughter, Cathy A. Jones; sons, James David Johnson Jr. and Terry Wayne Johnson; and grandchildren, Jessica Vice (Brandon), Justin Lightsey, Shannon Johnson (Ashley), Brett Johnson (Kelly), Lanna Johnson, Mason Webber, Anna Webber, Tristan Lighsey, Brennan Lightsey, Jacob Vice, Izzy Vice, and Maggie Johnson.Pallbearers will be David Johnson, Justin Lightsey, Tristan Lighsey, Mason Webber, Ronnie Dockery, Royce Lake, Brett Johnson, and Shannon Johnson.Honorary pallbearers are all current and past employees of J.D. Johnson Roofing and Construction.Condolences may be offered at www.memorychapelfuneralhome.com.
