JACKSON, BETTY JO COOK, 74, wife of the late Louis Jackson, and daughter of the late Charles and Nellie O'Nan Cook, died Monday April 11, 2011. Mrs. Jackson had worked at U of L Hospital, was a member of Shively Baptist Church, Shriners Womens Auxillary, Cake Club, Hawaiian Club and Shelby County Homemakers. She was preceded in death by one son, Dan Jackson; one brother ,Gayle Cook; and one sister, Helen Cook. She is survived by two sons, Edward Jackson (Lori) and Scott Jackson (Crystal); nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild also survive. A service celebrating Betty's life will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
