Betty Jo (Joey) Clark (nee Wofford ) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Eagle Terrace Newmarket on Sunday, October 26, 2008, in her 86th year. Betty Jo Wofford, wife of the late William (Bill) Clark and dear mother of Pat Stevenson and her husband Ron and dear grandmother of Lisa McWhirter and her husband Adam, Kelly Stevenson, Mandy Ferris and great-grandmother of Emily and Claire McWhirter. Sister of Lorraine Ankenman and the late Andrew Wofford. Betty Jo received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto in 1945 and was a retired civilian member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police retiring in 1984. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12 noon, followed by cremation.
