A lifelong resident of Buncombe County she was preceded in death by her husband, William Anderson of Detroit Michigan and her mother and father, Thelma Brown Hagan and William Charly Hagan. She is survived by her brothers, Wilford D (Bud) Hagan of Mars Hill and Billy G. Hagan of Asheville and several nieces and nephews.Betty was a member of Bingham Heights Church and The Upper room. She was a kind and generous person who loved God, her family,friends and Country Music.A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Penland Family Funeral Home in Swannoana, Sunday April 13th at 3 PM.
