Betty Jean Reed Bryant, 72, Russellville, Ala., died July 23, 2003. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 25, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with burial in Franklin Memory Gardens. Officiating at the funeral will be Brother Billy Myrick, Brother Terry Bendall and Brother Andy Gasque.Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at Spry Memorial Chapel.Pallbearers will be Terry Bendall Jr., Johnny Black Jr., Chad Holley, Justin Bryant, Andrew Bendall, Andy Gasque, Buddy Bryant and Jimmy Taylor. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Black Sr.She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur William and Ruth Jones Reed.She is survived by her husband, Charles Murl Bryant, Russellville, Ala.; son, Murl Junior Bryant, Russellville, Ala.; three daughters, Brenda Bendall, Russellville, Ala., Patsy Black, Russellville, Ala., Rhonda Holley, Russellville, Ala.; sister, Ethel Lindsey, Huntsville, Ala.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.Mrs. Bryant was a loving wife and mother. She was a member of Mount Home No. 2 Baptist Church.Spry Memorial Chapel of Russellville is directing.
