Hartwell - Mrs. Betty Jean Pitts, 75, of Hartwell died Aug. 3, 2010. Mrs. Pitts was a daughter of the late Clyde and Ruth Gentry. She was the widow of the late Lee Johnson and Dewey Pitts. Funeral Services will be Thursday Aug. 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home Chapel Danielsville with Rev. Glen Guest officiating. Interment will be in Meadow Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday Aug.4 from 6-8 at the funeral home. Survivors include children Steve Johnson and Debra Hart, brother Malcom Gentry 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
