Betty Jean Jenkins, 88, formerly of Union City, Ind., passed away at Miller's Merry Manor Health and Rehabilitation, Tipton. She was born Feb. 13, 1925 in Indianapolis to the late Ennis and Mary DeVault Brenton. Survivors include her children, Barbara (Bill) Hines of Indianapolis; Steven Michael Jenkins of Tipton, Karen Jenkins of Parker City and Deborah (Don) Kolp II of Winchester; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; one great grandson, Brady Sibery; and one brother, Jack Brenton in 1969. Graveside services are 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30 at Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester, with The Rev. Don Brewer officiating. Reichard Funeral Home, Union City, Ind., is in charge of arrangements.
