PORT ORANGE - Betty Jean Jackson, 87, of Herbert Street, who retired after 15 years as a sales clerk for TG&Y Dept. Store, Port Orange, died Tuesday at Oakwood Garden of DeLand. Mrs. Jackson was born in Slippery Rock, Pa., and moved to this area in 1950 from Washington, Pa. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Port Orange. Survivors include three daughters, Holly Matthews, Orange City, Suzy Jackson, Winter Park, and Kathy Streichert, Titusville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
