Obituary of Betty-Jean-Evans Carter


Betty Jean Evans Carter, 63, died Sept. 1, 2006, in Fort Pierce. She was a native of Fort Pierce. She was a coordinator in the photo studio industry and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Howard Carter of Fort Pierce; sons, Michael Carter of Fort Pierce, and Billy Carter of Lewisburg, Tenn.; daughter, Randy Hoke of Fort Pierce; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 S. E. Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997. SERVICES: Visitation will be Sept. 6 from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. at the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Those unable to attend may sign the guest book at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com
