BETTY JEAN BROWN HOBART, IN Betty Jean Brown, age 81 of Hobart, passed away on December 30, 2009. She was preceded in death by her sons: Steven Cooper and Dennis Cooper; grandson, Josh Brown; brothers: Harold, Charles and Ray Bliss. Betty is survived by her husband, Earl "Bud" Brown, Jr.; sons: Bernard (JoAnn) Cooper of Knox, IN and Earl W. (Laura) Brown III of Palmer, IN; daughters: Diane (Stewart) Barnett of Charleston, SC, Candace (Rick) Williams of Millington, TN and Debbie (Gary) Wright of Asheville, NC; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; daughters-in-law: Pam Cooper of Roanoke, VA and Mickey Cooper of Westville, IN. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart, IN with Rev. Gary Nagy officiating. Interment at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.
