<!-- Betty Jean BROOKS --> BROOKS Betty Jean Beloved wife of 63 years of Arthur L. Brooks, M.D., passed away in her sleep January 5, 2010 after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; children, Judy (Jerry) Cooper, Amy (Sandy) Hofstetter and Scott (Cindy) Brooks; grandchildren, Clint Cooper, Kellie Smith, Jennifer Gordon, Brooks Hofstetter, Wes Brooks and Emily Brooks, as well as 12 great-grandchildren. Jean was a graceful and loving wife with many friends. She was a God-loving person who loved to read her Bible, and will forever be remembered by her devoted husband. Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 2 p.m., with Dr. Bill Sherman officiating. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
