ObituaryBetty Jane Henderson, 92, died Thursday at Acorn Glen, Princeton, NY. Born in Spokane, WA, she had been a resident of Byrn Mawr, PA while maintaining a home in Captiva, FL. She had been a resident of Princeton since 1946. She was a former member of the Present Day Club of Princeton; a former member of Bay Head Yacht Club; a board member of Chapel by the Sea in Captiva, FL; a member of Captiva Civic Association; and was formerly very active as a volunteer in Doctors' Wives Auxiliary. Daughters of the late George T. and Helen B. Eager, she is the wife of the late Dr. John Henderson, to whom she was married for 52 years. He was the former International Medical Director of Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick. She is survived by her son, and daughter-in-law, Jack H. and Marcia Henderson of Plainsboro, NJ and Captiva, FL; her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Richard N. Lincoln of Skillman, NJ; four grandchildren; Pamela B. Dowd, Lauri Ann Bookholdt, David H. Lincoln, and Thomas R. Lincoln; and eight great grandchildren, Gabby Dowd, Morgan Bookholdt, Haley Bookholdt, Jack T. Lincoln, Matthew J. Lincoln, Tara Koeger, Morgan Strathem, and Zachary Rickards. Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 19, 2003 at 2:00 PM at Trinty Church, 33 Mercer St., Princeton. Burial will follow at Trinity All Saints Cemetery in Princeton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chapel by the Sea, Captiva, FL 33924 or to Princeton Hospice, 208 Bunn Dr., Princeton, NJ 08540. Arrangements are under the direction of The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton, NJ.
