Take her in Thine arms, dear Lord, and ever let her be A messenger of love Between our hearts and Thee. Betty will be remembered by her loving family, son Jim (Patti) Johnson of Calgary; daughters, Joan (Stan) Stretch of Edmonton and Barb Groves of Calgary; eight grandchildren, Nancy (George), Susan, Sharon, Linda (Mel), Leslie (Trevor), Stephen, Corby (Michelle) and Chad; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Clif (Kaye) Kilburn, Jimmy (Dorothy) Kilburn and Doug (Linda) Kilburn; one sister, Pearl (Lyle) Shillington; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Shirley; grandson, Noel; sister, Jean and brother Colin. A special thank you to the staff of the Jubilee Lodge Nursing Home for their wonderful care. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Edmonton Free Methodist Church, 7706-86 Avenue, Edmonton.
