Betty J. Smith August 25, 2010 Betty J. Smith, 76, of Edmeston, died peacefully Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Oneida Healthcare Center. She was born October 7, 1933, in Fenner, NY, the daughter of Floyd and Julia (Jones) Taylor. She married Ford H. Smith on September 19, 1964. Calling hours for Betty will be held on Sunday, August 29 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Houk-Johnston-Terry Funeral Home, Edmeston. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the 2nd Baptist Church, Edmeston with Pastor Ray Merritt officiating, with a calling hour one hour prior to service.
