Betty J. Johnson Betty J. (McLaughlin) Johnson, age 89 of Vineland passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, in Bishop McCarthy Residence. Betty was born in Bloomsburg, Pa. to the late Clarence R. and Charlotte (Werkheiser) Parker and lived in Vineland since 1960. She graduated Bloomsburg High School Class of 1940. Betty was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church of Vineland. Betty was also a member of Shekinah Chapter No. 82 Order of the Eastern Star of NJ. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. Betty was pre-deceased by her husband John J. Johnson in 1996. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara A. Pittman and her husband Robert of Vineland and nephew, Raymond McLaughlin and his wife Deborah of Gulfport, Miss. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, at 8 p.m. from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home 1024 E. Landis Ave. Vineland with Rev. Jeanette Block officiating. Inurnment will be private in New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg, Pa. Visitation hours are Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations in Betty's memory may be made to S.J.
