Betty-J. Jackson, born in 1942, daughter of Mose and Adell, died on August 28, 2008 at 66 years old.
Mother Betty J. Jackson, 66, of Wewahitchka, Fla., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, Fla. She was born Aug. 20, 1942, in Wewahitchka, Fla., to the late Mose and Adell Jackson. Mother Betty was a faithful servant of God who was filled with His precious Holy Spirit and served faithfully in her church, Triumph Church of God of Wewahitchka. She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother, Inez Myers, Rosie McNeal, Ruby Jean Jackson and Curtis Lee Jackson. Mother Betty leaves to cherish her memories four devoted children, Debbie Jackson, Linda Turner, Sandra Hunter (Jeffrey) and Steven Jackson (Gwendolyn), all of Wewahitchka, Fla.; four grandchildren, Brittany Hunter, Dexter Hunter, Damion Hunter and Jeffrey Hunter Jr., all of Wewahitchka, Fla.; five sisters, Mozell Jackson and Mattie Jackson, both of Wewahitchka, Fla., Hattie Brown (John) of Trenton, N.J., and Shirley Jackson and Lula Jackson, both of Panama City, Fla.; three brothers, Johnny Jackson (Margaret) and Joseph Jackson (Sylvia), both of Wewahitchka, Fla., and Allen Jackson of Panama City, Fla.; five aunts, Corine Ford, Emma Lee Reynolds, Burnell Finn, Sammie Fortner and Myrtle Lee Fox; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at Triumph Church of God, 1378 W. River Road, Wewahitchka, Fla. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. with Elder Earnest Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Cemetery in Wewahitchka, Fla. Christian Memorial Chapel Arthur E.
