BETTY J. ANDERSON FORMERLY OF CEDAR LAKE, IN Betty J. Anderson, age 69, of Hebron, formerly of Cedar Lake, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the VNA Hospice Center of Valparaiso. Survived by her son, Robert Anderson of Munster; daughter, Debbie (Rick) Michael of Hebron; three grandchildren: Dave, Chad and Ashley; two brothers; Michael Rescan of Tampa, FL and Ed Rescan of Elgin, IL; three aunts: Emma Nadler, Alma Saeghetti and Helen Danko; and numerous cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church, 11000 West 133rd Ave., Cedar Lake, IN with Father Ed Tlucek, O.F.M., officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Burdan Funeral Home, 12901 Wicker Ave. (corner of Rt 41 and 129th Ave.), Cedar Lake, IN. A 7:00 p.m. scripture service will be held with Deacon Ed Kozub. Betty graduated from Bowen High School in 1958. She worked for Centier Bank for 18 years. Betty enjoyed spending time with her dogs and taking care of her plants. She enjoyed everything living. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
