BETTY HUMBLESBROWN, 85Homemaker WINTER HAVEN - Mrs. Betty Humbles Brown, age 85, of Winter Haven passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Wedgewood of Winter Haven due to heart failure. She was born February 8, 1924 in Kokomo, IN. She was a homemaker, member of Beymer Memorial United Methodist Church and 50 year member of Chapter DP P.E.O. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, of 62 years, Ernest "Erny" Brown, Sr. She is survived by her children Andrea Cox, Morganton, GA formerly of Lake Alfred, Janice Lindley LaBranche, Winter Haven, FL, and son Ernest N. "Bud" Brown, Jr., sister-in-law Ethel Humbles, Lincoln, NB, sons-in-law Guy Cox and Dick Lindley, daughter- in-law Nancy Brown, grandchildren Jeane Lindley, John Cox (Christy), Anne Lindley Russell (David), Betsy Cox and five great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice.
