Betty G. Henderson, 87, of Homosassa died Monday, June 8, 2009, in Cypress Cove Care Center. Born October 31, 1921, in Dragston Township, N, to Henry and Eunice (Laws) Gates, Mrs. Henderson moved to Homosassa 9 years ago from Brookhaven, MS. She was a member of Suncoast Baptist Church. Survived by sons, Harvey W. (Clara) Henderson Jr., of Homosassa, Don (Peggy) Henderson of Miramar, FL, and Keith (Meredith) Henderson of Golden Valley, MN; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harvey W. Henderson Sr. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday, June 12, 2009, at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa Springs, with Pastor John Fizer officiating. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday from 11:00 A M. until the hour of service.
