JACKSON Betty Gail Olson Jackson, 63, passed away on May 8, 2006 following a seven year battle with cancer. Born on April 27, 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida. She is survived by her husband of 46 years Jerry A. Jackson, 'her loving care giver'. Her son, Michael Scott Jackson, her daughter-in-law, Erin M. Jackson, two grandchildren, Nicholas Tyler and Zachary Christopher, who called her Nina. Her mother is Mary Jaques, her sister Julie Jaques, her brother Richard Jaques, his wife Cheri, and many other relatives. She enjoyed her hobbies of painting, singing, and spending time with her large family, and many friends, and her loving dog 'Bear'. A viewing will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2006 (TODAY) , from 4 PM to 7 PM at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. in Arlington. Her Funeral Service will be held at Arlington Baptist Church, 6009 Arlington Road on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in her name to Community Hospice at 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Fl. 32257, as they made her final days peaceful and dignified.
