Betty Dean McCrary McKenzie, age 73, of Gainesville passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, at her residence following an extended illness.Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. John Kinsey will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.Mrs. McKenzie was born Jan. 7, 1941, in Sylvester, Ga., to the late Fred Cecil McCrary and Eula Jones McCrary. She was retired from SunTrust Bank and was a member of Harmony Hall Baptist Church. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles L.
