Betty Register Davis, 64, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Lake City Medical Center. She was born in Henderson, North Carolina to the late Claude and Fannie Owen Register. Richard and Betty have lived in Lake City for the past 10 1/2 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her love to her boys & grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bill Register. Survivors include her caring husband of 30 years, Richard L. Davis of Lake City, FL; sons, Jake (Missy) Graham of Pace, FL & Jerry Graham of Prairieville, LA; brothers, Clyde of Raeford, NC and C.B. Register of Wilmington, NC; sisters, Peggy Johnson of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Rachel Thompson of Maxton, NC, Pat Kissinger of Goldsboro, NC, Margo Meritt of Ft. Pierce, FL and Dale Boyd of Cameron, NC; grandchildren, Chelsea, Courtney, Austin, Tiffany, & Olivia Graham; many nieces, nephews and extended family friends also survive. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in the chapel of gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Blaylock officiating.
