Betty Caldwell Davis Betty Caldwell Davis, 77, of Tallahassee, Fla., died Monday, April 20, 2009, at the Big Bend Hospice House after a courageous battle with cancer. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday, April 25, at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper, Florida, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper.A longtime resident of Tallahassee, she retired from the State of Florida House of Representatives, where she worked for many years. Survivors include her daughter, Tylee Culpepper of Tallahassee; daughter-in-law Sylvia Caldwell of Atlanta and granddaughters Amanda Caldwell of San Diego, California, Ashley Hernandez and husband Rob of Tallahassee, and Melissa Rowe and fiance James Parker of Tallahassee.She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Ben M.
