Betty Brownof Maine, N.Y.Elizabeth J. Brown, 80, of Maine, N.Y., went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 17, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Byron L. Brown; her daughter, Bonnie Brown, Maine, N.Y.; her son, Bruce (Gale) Brown, Dryden, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Karen, Andrew, Adam, Joshua, and Samuel Brown; her brother, Bernard June, Susquehanna, Pa.; her sisters, Ruth Henderson, Susquehanna, Pa., Arlene (David) Snyder, Oakland, Pa., Pauline (Clyde) Searfoss, Ferndale, Mich.; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was member of the Federated Church of Maine and its Prayer Group and a member of the Eastern Star Lodge, Maine, N.Y.Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the Federated Church of Maine with the Rev. Sprite G. Johnson officiating. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
