Betty Brown formerly of Binghamton Betty Brown, 86, died Thursday, May 23, 2002 at Lourdes Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Dr. Nathan Brown; one daughter, Marcia Brown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence Brown and Adela Gondek, Daniel Brown and Sheera Kahn; three grandchildren, Madeleine Gondek-Brown, Tristan Gondek-Brown, Jessica Brown; one brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Florence Flagman. Betty loved travel, books, music, education and her family. Graveside Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Temple Israel Cemetery, Conklin, N.Y. Rabbi Barry Baron will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. The family extends it's warm thanks to Grace Prouty, Donna Severson, Stasia Smith, Doreen Vincent and Lisa Warner. Arrangements are by the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home Inc.
