BROWN, Betty 79, passed away July 8, 2013, at Suncoast Hospice Woodside. She was born in Quincy, FL. She was better known as "Granny" by all of her adoring "people". She has lived in the same home in Largo for nearly 60 years where she was a homemaker who loved working in her yard. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Charles; daughters, Betty (Dan) Van Wie of Dunedin, Debbie (Kim) Mitchell of Lecanto; sons, Ken (Paula) Brown of Alabama, and Mike (Leigh Ann) of Safety Harbor. She has eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Eddie, and grandson Ryan. In honor of her life and memory donations are being made to Suncoast Hospice Woodside.
