She was a member of Olive Baptist Church. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother.She is preceded in death by her parents. William Ernest Lee and Mary Lynch Lee and her sister, Katy Bond.She is survived by her son, Larry Barnes (wife-Jane) of Fayette, Alabama; three daughters, Connie Cavnar of Pensacola, FL, Mary Gay Ard (husband-Mark) of Pensacola, FL, and Jackie Stanton (husband-Glenn) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brother, Bill Lee (wife-Jean) of Pensacola, Florida; twelve grandchildren ; eight great-grandchildren along with many additional family and friends.In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Olive Baptist Church Ministry Village in Betty Jean Barnes memory.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Olive Baptist Church from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Dr. Ted Traylor officiating.
