BROWN, Betty Kathleen May 15, 1921 - June 17, 2003 She was a gentle woman, a lady of quiet dignity, of incredible determination and inner strength. Always a peace maker and often the voice of reason. She was a great reader, gardener, lover of animals, birds, flowers and music. She loved to laugh. She listened well. She lived life interested in everything it had to offer. As family we were blessed to have her as a Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt. She has gone to join the love of her life, our Dad, Gordon and our sister, Cheri. She loved us all and shared our lives. Sons, Keith and Randall; daughter, Marcia (Ray) DeVicque; sons-in-law, Arnie Nazaroff, Don Bousfield; grandchildren, Ben Wuest, Matt Nazaroff, Lindsay Wuest, Karly Nazaroff, Mike Wuest, Shawn Wuest, Heather Wuest, Stacy Bousfield; sister and friend, Sheila Reed; brothers, George (Hansel) Horne, Bob (Tee) Horne; sister-in-law, Jean Horne; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends, Reta Kennedy, Bernice Reed, the Ladies of the Book Club, Bridge Club and St. Paul's United Church all enriched her life. Her last days were blessed with the incredible compassion and care of the staff of hospice at the Edmonton General. "May we live our lives in her gentle spirit." No service by request.
