Obituary of Betty-Ann Jones


Funeral for Betty Ann Jones, 64, of Murfreesboro, Tenn. will be Thursday, May 6, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Reed officiating.Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 9 at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at her residence. She was born Sept. 24, 1939, to the late Clyde and Vergie Bryant Riddle. A native of Tullahoma, Tenn. she lived in Murfreesboro for the past six years. She was part of God’s Ministry Team in Savannah, Ga., Decatur, Ala., and Tullahoma and currently served at St. Pittsburg Church of the Nazarene. She took pride in being a pastor’s wife. She was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Riddle; and two stepbrothers, Wade Roberts and Avery Roberts. Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Jones; two sons, Keith Jones and wife Nancy of Chattanooga and Marty Jones and wife Sandra of Tullahoma; one daughter, Lori Pugh and husband James of Christiana, Tenn.; two stepbrothers, Carl Roberts and Clyde Roberts; two stepsisters, Lois White and Virginia Thomas; two grandchildren, Josh Jones and wife Angie and Zach Jones; and one great-grandchild, Raven Jones. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alive Hospice of Nashville.
