Obituary of Betty-Ann Carter

Betty Ann Patterson Carter, 75, Gadsden, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 7, 2011. She was a member of Gospel Temple Christian Center. Her pastor, Bro. Billy Boatwright, will speak at her homegoing service Monday at 11 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.She was preceded in death by her son, Sam E. Patterson Jr. Survivors are her husband, James Carter; daughters, Lisa Sims (Roger), Kelly Hutt (Terry), Traci Smith; grandchildren, Shannon Calvert Johnson (Doug), Kristy Calvert, Jeremy Griffin (Holly), Keith Mitchell (Monica), Katie Mitchell, Tyler Griffin (Shalace), Shawn Hutt, Hunter Tolbert, Michael Hudson, Samantha Hutt, Charley Smith; and many great-grandchildren; sister, Glad Patterson (Bobby); sister-in-law, Emily Paschal (Jerry); brothers-in-law, Nate Carter (Velvalou) and Kenneth Carter (Bobbie Sue).Pallbearers are Jeremy Griffin, Keith Mitchell, Roger Sims, Terry Hutt, Michael Hudson and Grant Griffin. Mrs. Carter will remain at the funeral home from 6 to 8 tonight. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory is directing.
