Bette Wells Morris - SAVANNAH - Bette Wells Morris, 67, of Savannah, died Friday at her residence, under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc. She was born in Sylvania, GA, and was preceded in death by her son, Michael Ray Morris, and she was a Baptist. She was retired from Civil Service, having served as a Secretary with the US Army. Mrs. Bette Morris was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Major Charles M. Morris, Jr., of Savannah, GA; two sons, Gary Morris (Suzi) of Hardeeville, SC; and W. A. "Scotty" Scott, Jr., (Judy), of Jacksonville, FL; two stepdaughters, Kathryn Ann Swords (Michael) of Jacksonville, FL, Janis Marie Landers (Charles) of Stockbridge, GA; seven grandchildren, Kati Jo Morris, Selena Ann Morris, Justin Kyle Morris, Joseph Mitchell Cogdill, W. A. Scott III, Joshua A. Scott and Leigh Ann Scott, and two great grandchildren, Autumn Lynn Cogdill and Ava Elizabeth Cogdill.
