WILLIAMS _ Bessie Ada (nee Brown) 1921 - 2007 Bessie Ada Williams of Caroline, Alberta, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Bess was born on November 20, 1921 in Caroline, AB. She met Wynne Williams at Caroline and they were married June 17, 1943 at St. Michael & All Angels Church, Calgary. Bess was a passionate lover of life, of family, and of nature. She was creative, artistic, and enjoyed painting, dance, music, flowers, writing poetry, and visiting with her extended family. Bess was a master seamstress for many years and an enthusiastic volunteer with square dance clubs, the 1988 Olympics, and the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, among others. Bessie is survived by her husband Wynne; her children, Collin and Bev Williams, Faye and Tony Friend, Joan Williams; her grandchildren, Dionne, Chris (and Susan), Sean and Michael; her brother Dennis Brown; and sisters, Ivy McGrandle and Daisy Kurp. Bess was predeceased by her parents Dora and Charles; her brothers, Charlie and Alec; and her sisters, Myra and Elsie. Funeral Services will be held at St. Mark's Anglican Church (1802 - 33 Avenue S.W.) today, March 30, 2007 at 1:00 p.m., reception to follow. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com .
