ANNISTON — Funeral service for Bessie V. Arnold, 69, of Anniston, will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2009 at First Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Ron Hardy officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at Gray Brown Service. Mrs. Arnold died Thursday evening at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her husband, Howard Arnold; son, Jeff Arnold and wife, Traci; daughter, Kim Almanza and husband Geronimo; grandchildren, Haley Arnold, Russell Arnold, Owen Arnold Isabella Almanza, Alexzander Almanza, and Tyler Stacks; great- grandchildren, Katie Arnold and Kelcie Wilkerson; sisters, Mae Mckinney, Ruth Brueggen, Loretta Gentry, Mary McMichael, and Annette Stacks-Hake; brother, Tom Stacks Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Arnold is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Sudie Stacks; two brothers, and three sisters. Pallbearers will be Russell Arnold, Owen Arnold, Nick Lovejoy, Ralph Gentry, Tracy Gentry and Shane Gentry. Honorary Pallbearer will be Tyler Stacks. Mrs. Arnold was a life time resident of Anniston, and was well known in the community as being a wonderful caregiver. Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge of arrangements. (256) 236-3441
