AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Bessie Mae Jackson entered into rest on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 1, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Hatney officiating. Burial will be in Walker Memorial Park. She was a native of McDuffie County, Ga. and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors are a devoted companion, Daniel Hatney, Augusta; two sons, Herman (Sherri) Jackson, James (Marilyn) Jackson, Jr., Augusta; nine grandchildren; one sister, Ula Mae Jones, Thomson, Ga.; caregiver, Deloise Trotty; other relatives and friends.
