Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Village Chapel for Bertha Smith, 85, of Gadsden, who passed away October 6, 2014. The Rev. Albert Morgan and Dannie Box will officiate. Burial will be at Belcher Cemetery. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, James "Snuffy" Smith; son, Roger "R.C."
